Happy Children’s Day Celebration to All Nigerian Children

Children’s Day was first celebrated worldwide in October 1955, under the sponsorship of International Union for Child Welfare in Geneva. The idea of a Universal Children’s Day was mooted by Rubab Mansoor grade 8 and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954.

This day for the children is an opportunity for them to express themselves and be happy that they are at this age and time. But for the adult, it is a time of sober reflection.

Children are innocent, children bring a smile to one’s face. One of the most treasured possessions on earth; children are loved by one and all. Thus, Children’s Day is celebrated to commemorate the healthy growth and happiness of children.

As grown ups, we have the job of nurturing our kids to be strong and independent. As parents and caregivers, we are doing the most important job here. It’s rewarding, but sometimes it’s tough.

We all have a role to play in treasuring our children. No one needs to do the big job of being a parent by themselves. Friends and family are the best people to lend a helping hand.

Be there, Sometimes a listening ear and some practical help is the best kind of support.Give praise and encouragement and reprimand when necessary.

Let parents also spend valuable time with their children and attend to their problems.

Remember that every child is a precious pearl..

Remember that every child has the sole right of being a child...

Remember that every child has the right to make a mistake!

HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY!!
